2022 Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP) Minority Outreach Conference on Friday, June 3, 2022
April 25, 2022

–On behalf of the NC Lawyer Assistance Program–
Please join us in-person* for our 2022 Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP) Minority Outreach Conference on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the McKimmon Conference Center in Raleigh at 1101 Gorman Street, Raleigh, NC 27606 with oodles of free parking this year.
The day will offer dynamic speakers, a luncheon, and a sponsored reception, plus the opportunity to earn 5 hours of CLE credit. But most of all, the event brings together a robust community of Black lawyers and judges from across the state. This five-hour CLE program qualifies for the required mental health/substance abuse hour and ethics hours (or if you already have all or some of those required credits, then these credits roll over to general hours). The State Bar will bill you $3.50 for each CLE credit hour you attend.
MOC BROCHURE Pre-registration is required and is online only. The cost of this year’s conference is $25 (plus Eventbrite payment processing fee) to help defer the cost of lunch. You can register for the conference by clicking the “Attend Event” button at the bottom of the brochure and following the registration prompts or REGISTER HERE Deadline: We expect to sell out this year because the venue is smaller than the Durham Convention Center. The deadline to register is no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, May 23, 2022. Due to contractual deadlines, we cannot accept reservations after that time. The deadline to cancel your registration and request a refund is no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, May 27, 2022 (Eventbrite cancelation charges of $3.50 may apply). *COVID PROTOCOL: Out of an abundance of caution and for the safety and well-being of all attendees, all attendees are either required to be fully vaccinated and attest to such, or upon arrival at the registration desk, to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test that has been taken within 72 hours of attending the event. This situation remains fluid and may change as the event gets closer. We will update you if there is a change in this policy. *MASKS: Please feel free to wear a mask if it makes you more comfortable. As of now, masks are not mandated. That could change. We will keep you updated. We hope you will join us and look forward to seeing you. |
