January 16, 2019

Attention Law School Students!!

Do you have questions, concerns, or thoughts about Diversity and Inclusion in the Legal Profession? Have you experienced things in your life or in law school that shaped your understandings of race and diversity?

Join the NCBA’s Minorities in the Profession Committee on January 26, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., for ¡Adelante! “Dialogue and Discussion” on the impact that implicit bias and overt discrimination uniquely have on students of color throughout their law school and employment experiences and how to overcome them.

The event is an opportunity for students to have honest, small-group discussions about their experiences. Keynote Speaker, Sidney O. Minter, of Jackson Lewis P.C., will present on “Confronting Barriers to Diversity and Inclusion.”  Immediately following the “Dialogue and Discussion” program, there will be a brief networking opportunity for any students interested in speaking with attorneys. This event is free and open to all law students, including out-of-state students. Breakfast will be provided. Registration is required. Space is limited so RSVP now!

We would love to have you join us! Please Register by January 22. To register, please follow this link.
