Attorney and Non-Attorney Volunteers Needed for the 2021 ABA Client Counseling Competition
January 21, 2021
This year Campbell Law is a regional host for the ABA Client Counseling Competition. The competition will be held virtually via Zoom February 5-6, 2021. This competition tests competitors on their ability to interview, advise, and support a client through their legal and non-legal issues. Competitors will conduct an initial interview with a person playing the role of a client. While conducting the interview with the client, competitors are being observed by three judges that will score the competitors at the end of the interview. After three preliminary rounds, the top six teams will move on to the semifinals. The top three teams will move on to the final round.
As a host school, Campbell is in need of judges for the competition for the preliminary, semifinal, and final rounds. If you are interested in being a judge, please click here to register. Judges are only allowed to judge one round (preliminary, semifinal, final), but if you are available for more than one round, please indicate your availability via the form. Once you complete and submit the form, we will notify you of which round you will be judging.
If you have any questions, please contact Callie Davis at cedavis@campbell.edu.
