2018 Candidate Forum, Huge Success!
October 12, 2018

On September 29, 2018, the Capital City Lawyers Association (CCLA) will held a nonpartisan, multi-office candidate meet and greet and voter registration drive. Over 30 candidates running for Federal, State, and local offices were in attendance.
The purpose of the forum was to give Raleigh voters an opportunity to meet candidates and discuss issues of importance to them in this election. The event was free and open to the public.
Thank you Trophy on Maywood for hosting this event!
Mid-term elections have historically low voter turnout, particularly in communities of color and among younger voters. The goal of the candidates’ forum and voter registration drive was to educate and encourage voters from diverse communities and backgrounds to become civically engaged and vote on November 6, 2018.
Thank you to all of the candidates in attendance. (In no particular order)
