For 35 years, the Capital City Lawyers Association (CCLA) has stood as a pillar of leadership, advocacy, scholarship, and service in Wake County and across North Carolina.
Founded in 1991, CCLA was created to support, uplift, and unify Black attorneys and legal professionals while advancing justice and opportunity within our broader community. What began as a vision among committed legal leaders has grown into a dynamic organization that continues to evolve with the times—while staying rooted in purpose.
