This past weekend, CCLA President Taylor Scruggs-Smith supported the Sub-Region 3 Southern Regional Black Law Student Association (SRBLSA) at their annual Academic Retreat. This year’s theme was “Celebrating How Far We’ve Come: Looking Back to Propel Forward.” Taylor served as a panelist, speaking with students about interviewing techniques and what legal employers look for when hiring.
MORE ABOUT SRBLSA: Every year, each sub-region in SRBLSA hosts an Academic Retreat to support the educational needs and goals of minority law students. They do this by offering a weekend of in-person programming to foster their professional development and grow meaningful relationships with minorities in the legal profession across the region. This year, Sub-Region 3 hosted its Academic Retreat on at UNC School of Law.
