Justice-elect to the North Carolina Supreme Court Anita Earls will be hiring judicial clerks for January 2019, with the expectation that she will hire one experienced clerk (ideally someone who has previously clerked on the NC Supreme Court) and one new graduate from the Class of 2018 who has passed the bar. The duration of these clerkships will be either Jan. 2019-Aug. 2019 or Jan. 2019 – Aug. 2020, to be determined at a future point.

In terms of credentials, Ms. Earls will be considering grades, class rank and prior participation on a law journal, but those are not absolute requirements.
