Wake County Bar Association & Tenth Judicial District Bar Mask Drive for Wake County Courts

June 29, 2020

On behalf of the Tenth Judicial District Bar and Wake County Bar Association

With the Wake County Justice Center moving to a mandatory mask policy, a concern has arisen about a hardship that it could cause indigent persons or any individual who either do not have the means of obtaining face covering or have not received word of our policy. The Wake County Bar Association and Tenth Judicial District Bar are working directly with Chief Resident Superior Court Judge Paul Ridgeway and Trial Court Administrator Kellie Meyers to organize a mask drive. We have already ordered the first 2,000 masks, but believe that regular supplies will be needed into the foreseeable future.

Therefore, we’re asking any members or firms who would like to support this cause to send masks directly to the new WCBA/Tenth offices at 712 West North Street, Raleigh, NC 27603. Disposable masks  can be purchased directly at Amazon, and are generally about $30-35 for a pack of 50.

Thank you for your support!
